Beaujolais Mixed Case Mk 2

The grapes are from the vineyard of «Les Raisses» in Lancié, at the border with Fleurie. Emma and Andrew have been working with this grower since 2014 and, he’s now in the second year of organic conversion with wild flowers and insect life starting to return. Picked on 22 August, the earliest ever start of harvest (allowing more time for it be ready for Nouveau celebrations). Fermented with whole clusters in a concrete tank for nine days then pressed to release more sugars and to finish fermenting in stainless steel before the last two months in a large wooden vat. No sulphur was added at any point.
It’s fun and smashable glou-glou!
-This wine will be bottled to order in our container and sealed with a crown cap, drink lightly chilled whilst it's fresh.

Made by Romain Zordan, who shares a cellar with his cousin Yann Bertrand. Cuvée Spaciale comes from 60 year old vines and is made in an old Russian 'Sputnik' tank - a spherical fiberglass tank which is slowly rotated throughout the fermentation.

From the most famous hill in Beaujolais (and surely one of the most in all of France), Damien works the Mayor of Morgon's vines with almost no intervention to create a totally authentic wine. 2015 is a vintage for cellaring, and the 5 years it has spent in Damien's cave has resulted in a truly remarkable wine.

St Amour is the most Northerly Cru in Beaujolais, and Yann farms this plot in the same way as the land he owns with his cousin, Romain. The grapes are cooled before a long fermentation.

Chénas has a reputation for producting firmer, richer styles of Beuajolais. Paul-Henri, and Charles are working to dispel this reputation by producing elegant, aromatic, precise styles of wine.

This is the first vintage of Michele and David's Chiroubles, which comes from two sites: Saint Roch and Poullet, each with vines between 40 and 60 years old. The purity of this wine is exceptional, and a clear marker for the future of this young Domaine.
