The village of Valdilecha sits at 700m with Marc’s old, red Tempranillo vines at 780m and indigenous white variety Malvar vines at 730m.  These vines are notoriously difficult to work (and reach), which is where the name La Maldición comes from, meaning ‘The Curse’.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch6\u003eFARMING \u0026amp; WINEMAKING NOTES\u003c\/h6\u003e\u003cp\u003eMarc implemented biodynamics at Bernabeleva and so it is no surprise that he works his own estate in exactly the same way. Tinto de Valdilecha is from 60-105 year old vines and is a blend of the red and white varieties that Marc works with.
