Notes from Keeling Andrew who import this wine as the house wine for Noble Rot.

Delicious, ethically made, low-cost wines are hard to find, and it took us a year of searching wine regions to find one we are proud to put our name to. Through blind tasting a shortlist of ten whites we settled on a unanimous winner - a Vinho Verde from Quinta do Ermizio in Northern Portugal – and visited winemaker Antonio Monteiro at his 15 hectare estate to select specific tanks that suit the fresh, vibrant style we adore, made from the traditional Loureiro and Trajadura varieties.
For the label artwork we commissioned Jose Miguel Mendez, a long standing Rot contributor, to create an eye-catching label that encapsulated the spirit of the project. As ever, he delivered beautifully.

Integrated production (which means that that they use minimal products and under tight control). Chemicals are combined with biological means and are only applied when there is no alternative.
Wine making is minimal intervention. The philosophy is to preserve the character of the Loureiro and Trajadura.
